"Rose Garden" — Handmade Smocked Dress for Sasha Doll (16" & 17")
A dress as pretty as a summer cottage garden.
This one-of-a-kind creation is made from a beautiful white cotton fabric scattered with a gorgeous print of full-blown pink roses, tiny rosebuds, delicate blue forget-me-nots, and trailing green stems and leaves — a print that captures the charm and romance of an English country garden in full bloom.
The bodice features beautiful hand-smocking worked in DMC embroidery threads in soft pinks, greens, and blues, creating a classic geometric pattern that echoes the colours of the fabric perfectly. Short puff sleeves with neat turned-back cuffs give a sweet, timeless finish.
Darts have been added to the back bodice to create a beautifully shaped, tailored fit.
A beautifully full gathered skirt allows the gorgeous floral print to take centre stage, with the roses and forget-me-nots dancing freely across the hem.
Fully lined throughout for a beautiful finish inside and out. Opens fully at the back and closes with sewn-on snaps.
A little heirloom piece made to be treasured.

Designed and handmade by me in my home sewing studio — smoke-free and pet-free. Your dress will arrive beautifully presented in a box, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper to prevent wrinkles.
