"Rosé Romance" — Handmade Smocked Dress for Sasha Doll (16" & 17")
A dress with the warm, romantic beauty of a late autumn garden.
This one-of-a-kind creation is made from a beautiful cotton fabric in a soft rosé wine, scattered with a gorgeous print of soft pink rosebuds, delicate peach blossom clusters, and graceful sage-green leaves and curling stems — a print that captures the fading warmth and gentle beauty of an English garden in early autumn.
The bodice features beautiful hand-smocking worked in DMC embroidery threads in deep rose, soft pink, and moss green, creating a classic diamond lattice pattern that brings out the rich, warm tones of the fabric perfectly. Short puff sleeves with neat turned-back cuffs give a sweet, timeless finish.
Darts have been added to the back bodice to create a beautifully shaped, tailored fit.
A beautifully full gathered skirt allows the gorgeous floral print to take centre stage, with the rosebuds and blossom trailing softly across the rosé wine ground.
Fully lined throughout for a beautiful finish inside and out. Opens fully at the back and closes with sewn-on snaps.

Designed and handmade by me in my home sewing studio — smoke-free and pet-free. Your dress will arrive beautifully presented in a box, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper to prevent wrinkles.
