"Morning Dew" — Handmade Smocked Dress for Sasha Doll (16" & 17")
A dress as fresh and gentle as the first light of a spring morning.
This one-of-a-kind creation is made from a beautiful cotton fabric in a soft cream, scattered with dainty sprays of tiny pale blue flowers and delicate trailing stems and leaves in soft blue-grey — a print so light and airy it feels like a whisper of spring.
The bodice features beautiful hand-smocking worked in DMC embroidery threads in soft buttercream yellow with a delicate accent row in pale blue, creating a classic diamond lattice pattern that perfectly captures the light, fresh tones of the fabric. Short puff sleeves with neat turned-back cuffs give a sweet, timeless finish.
Darts have been added to the back bodice to create a beautifully shaped, tailored fit.
A beautifully full gathered skirt allows the delicate floral print to shine, with the tiny flower sprays drifting softly across the cream ground.
Fully lined throughout in white lawn cotton for a beautiful finish inside and out. Opens fully at the back and closes with sewn-on snaps.
A little heirloom piece made to be treasured.

Your dress will arrive beautifully presented in a box, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper to prevent wrinkles.
