Every Sasha collector knows about the special Limited Edition Sasha dolls, but there's always been a question mark over the six dolls numbered as #1. Well, the mystery is about to be solved! Thanks to Dawn Law Jonh Doggard, who's decided to let all six of them go, they will soon be freed from their boxes and find new homes in collectors' collections. Two weeks ago, he visited me, giving me the opportunity to see, inspect, take notes, and photograph them. After that, Janet kindly agreed to create the descriptions based on my notes and the photographs I sent her. The dolls will be auctioned at the Sasha Festival 2024 after the CFA Auction, but all Sasha collectors will have the chance to add them to their collection. For that reason, we are starting an online auction for those not attending. All attendees will be able to see them in person and could bid on them in the room. However, if any attendees prefer to stay anonymous, they are welcome to use the online form following the rules. The Limited Edition Auction (LE Auction) is now open for bids. Dear friends,
I cannot provide you with the timeframes of the different activities at this time. We still have two months until the event, and while almost everything is finalised, there might be some changes that come up. Roughly:
on Thursday, we start registration around 4:30 PM / 5 PM (refreshments provided), followed by the Gift Exchange until 7 PM.
Then, everyone has dinner on their own.
After dinner, you can preview the CFA, Helpers, Doll Raffles and purchase additional helpers and raffle tickets.
On Friday (refreshments provided during the day), we start around 9 AM with the CFA Auction until around noon.
Then, everyone has lunch on their own.
After lunch, there are activities.
In the evening, we have dinner together.
Saturday (refreshments provided during the day).
Morning includes activities followed by a buffet lunch.
Then, there are sales tables, and we aim to finish the day around 5 PM.
For the rest of the day, you are on your own: you can explore the park next to the hotel, the shopping centre, etc.
On Sunday, we start around 7:30 – 8 AM with breakfast/brunch as a group, with very limited activities and aim to finish around 11 AM.
The hotel checkout is at 11 AM, so if you are leaving, it's better to pack your luggage the evening before for departure. However, ensure you have some room in your luggage as the drawing of the Doll raffles is on Sunday.
If we see that things are delayed and we cannot finish in time, we will take a short break so everyone leaving can go to their room and bring their luggage to the function room.
Plan your departure after 1 PM.
Crafts are provided but we are not doing them at the Festival, so they are going to be your fun time for when you are back home.
I also want to use this opportunity to ask if you could please post all your questions about the Festival in this group (unless they are private, in which case you can send me an email to [email protected] ), and not on Messenger, as I cannot follow all messages on Facebook.
Everything is planned so you can be comfortable and have fun during your stay at the event.
Relax and start planning which doll will accompany you and their wardrobe for changes, as you don’t want trouble with your kids
Plan to pack comfortable clothes to wear, and bear in mind the British weather, as we might have temperatures ranging from 30°C to 15°C, so think in layers.
If you wish, you can also pack something nice to wear during dinner.
We cannot provide insurance for the dolls you are bringing, and while the hotel security is very good, make sure you bring only the number of dolls that you can manage to supervise, as it is your responsibility.
I'm sorry, but we cannot issue a refund or allow you to donate your space to someone else if you are unable to attend unless there is a waiting list, and we can fill your space from that list. If you are unable to attend and there is no one on the waiting list for a space, you will receive the Festival souvenirs at the expense of the Festival.
As you have an active registration, you can pre-purchase raffle and helpers tickets, just like everyone attending. However, if you are not attending and you win, you will have to cover the shipping cost.
Additionally, you will be able to place a bid on every CFA item you wish. Your bid will be recorded and executed by a designated individual on your behalf during the auction. If your bid is successful, you will be notified, and arrangements will be made for payment and shipping if necessary.
I also want to address again that we will not accept checks, so please plan to have cash or PayPal ready.

After discussions with the hotel, it's clarified that I won't be responsible for any unbooked rooms. While I mentioned booking with the hotel as a requirement before, this won't be a factor.
If you've already booked and are content, no need for changes. But if anyone is exploring alternatives, feel free to do so.

Important Reminder: Make sure to book your room before March 28th! After this date, any rooms reserved for the festival but not booked will be released for general sale. So, to guarantee your stay, get those bookings in before March 28th!

Hotel Booking Info: You can now book your hotel for Sasha Festival 2024.
Important Note: Rates for the 20th and 21st include accommodation and breakfast. On the 22nd, accommodation is provided only, as we will have breakfast/brunch as a group in the conference room.
Additional Info: If you plan to stay before or after the event, we recommend booking those nights as separate transactions. It appears that the hotel offers lower rates for non-event nights, as they may aim to maximize profit during the event.
Please be aware that the rooms are non-cancellable and non-refundable, in line with the hotel's policy.
1.Registration and Payment: We appreciate all those who have registered and completed their payments. If you have successfully registered but haven't received a confirmation email or message yet, please allow up to 7 days for us to process your information and send your acknowledgment letter.
2.Remaining Spaces: While we've made great progress in filling up the spots, there are still some spaces available. Remember that the festival's success relies on reaching our required number of attendees, so if you're planning to join us, don't hesitate to secure your spot.
3.Payment Plans: We've received inquiries about payment plans, but as of now, we're unable to offer such arrangements. We understand various preferences exist, but please note that our priority is to ensure fairness to all attendees, especially those who have paid in full.
5.Acknowledgment Letters: If you have not received your acknowledgment letter for the payment you made, please check your Facebook messages for the PDF file.
While I prefer to keep official correspondence for the festival recorded in email, I had to send many emails to confirm, and this might have triggered email locks. From today (23.08.23) onwards, all letters will be sent by email.
If you'd like to have another copy of yours through email, simply send a message to [email protected], and I'll respond to that email with the PDF file. Thank you.
