This is a classic A-Line coat, designed to fit over clothes. It can be worn over short or long sleeve garments including knitted.
Sewing Level: Advanced beginner
Fabric Suggestions: Cotton baby cord (21 wales), flannel, cotton, lightweight denim, lightweight suiting wool.
Materials: For the coat, you will need a piece of fabric at least 26” long by 9.5” wide and for the lining, you can use an FQ 18” by 22” and this is going to be enough even to make a dress to use it under the coat :-)
